One of Europe's leading brass players, he is
not only the widely acclaimed trumpet player of
the "Harald Schmidt Show" but also a member of
the world famous "Instant Composers Pool" (ICP)
that won the "TDWR-Acoustic Jazzgroup Award"
in last year's edition (2002) of the Down Beat
Critics Poll.
Other awards include the "Preis der Deutschen
Schallplattenkritik", the "SWF-Jazzpreis" and
the "Jazz-Art-Preis".
He has recorded numerous CDs for various labels,
has toured in 40 countries and was a part-time
lecturer at the "Musikhochschule Frankfurt/Main"
1993-97.
